Drawing
In drawing we will focus on building drawing skills as well as coloring techniques to give pictures a more professional look. Objects range from everyday items, to animals, to landscapes, each serving a different purpose for the lesson of the day.
Watercolor
In this class, technique is heavily emphasized as watercolor can have a bit of a learning curve. We range from learning the lightest of washes to the most opaque application you can get out of watercolor to give our paintings depth.
Acrylic
Acrylic can be intimidating, so we focus on color mixing and the layering of colors to get desired effects. When I teach acrylic, I try to give a breakdown on how to approach the picture so that you have a course of action to follow that leads you to a beautiful painting.
Manga/ Anime
Manga/ Anime relies heavily on anatomy and using line weight to denote your subjects, so we really try to focus on using the tools we have to give pencil drawings personality and variance. Each lesson starts with how to draw the face and then we move on to the other elements, measuring and deciding how to draw each one both realistically and stylized.
